Project & scope review
Plans, scopes, and proposals run through modern analysis, then verified by twenty years of field judgment. Gaps, conflicts, risks, and practical next steps, signed by a human.

Twenty years in plumbing service, mechanical trades, supervision, teaching, sales, and business development—now applied to your hardest technical and operational questions.
Software reads documents. We read buildings. Every recommendation is verified by twenty years of field judgment.
Why Flow State
Commercial plumbing problems rarely stay in one lane. A field condition can become a scope gap, an operations issue, a schedule problem, or an expensive decision made with incomplete information.
Flow State brings a tradesperson’s eye and an operator’s judgment to the same table—so the next move is grounded, clear, and useful.
Flow State exists for the gap between what AI can read and what only experience can know.
Software reads documents. It parses line items, compares bidders, flags gaps. That is the reading. The judgment is different. Twenty years in mechanical rooms, on jobsites, in service trucks. Knowing what a missing cleanout smells like. Knowing which line item is the trap.
Every Flow State engagement pairs modern analysis with field verified judgment. The tools do the reading. A human signs the recommendation.
In the AI era, the most valuable thing in the room is still a person who has seen it fail before.
“The work is invisible when it’s done right.”
Why I started Flow State
I started Flow State after 20 years as a commercial plumber. I kept watching owners and property teams sign plumbing bids they had no fair way to judge, then learn about building problems only after those problems became emergencies. I built this company to help owners and property teams stay on top of their game.
Here is where we fit in. I review plumbing and mechanical bids before you sign and give you a straight second opinion. I walk sites, review documents, catch problems early, and help you plan the work in the right order.
Here is how it works. It starts with a phone call, a site walk, and a document review. From there the work can be a one time review, a project engagement, or an ongoing retainer. Simple and straightforward.
What I do
Bring in a seasoned perspective before a technical question turns into rework, conflict, lost margin, or a recurring service problem.
Plans, scopes, and proposals run through modern analysis, then verified by twenty years of field judgment. Gaps, conflicts, risks, and practical next steps, signed by a human.
Independent problem-solving for commercial plumbing and mechanical systems when the cause—or the path forward—is unclear.
Improve how plumbing service is sold, staffed, handed off, and delivered—from the first call through closeout and recurring work.
A clear-eyed outside perspective for owners, project teams, and service leaders who need more than another sales pitch.
Focused review and guidance by phone or video for teams anywhere in the country.

Who I work with
Flow State works best when the stakes are commercial and the decision needs both technical credibility and operating context.
How it works
Every engagement is shaped around the situation. The first step is simple: understand the question, see the conditions, and review the record.
Clarify the situation, the stakes, and what a useful outcome looks like.
When needed, review the actual conditions and hear from the people closest to the work.
Examine scopes, plans, proposals, photos, history, and supporting records.
When to bring me in
Background
Field experience, leadership perspective, and the ability to teach what matters.
The perspective behind Flow State was built from the field outward—not from theory alone.
Experience spans plumbing service, mechanical trades, management and supervision, teaching, service sales, and business development at two large California mechanical contractors.
That range makes it possible to translate between the people doing the work, the people leading the business, and the people responsible for the building. The goal is not more complexity. It is the right level of detail, clearly stated, so the team can move.

AI handles the reading: parsing documents, comparing bidders, flagging gaps. I handle the judgment: verifying everything against twenty years of field experience and signing the recommendation.
